Twitterを見ていると、
プロフィール欄に「ナンパ」と書いてあり、
「2017年の目標は100人get」と宣言している人を
チラホラ見かけます。
正直言って「気持ち悪いな」と、
瞬間的にクモの巣に顔から突っ込んだような
不快感に包まれるわけですが、これは感情的な反応です。
あまり感情的に遠ざけるのも良くないので
今回は冷静にナンパについて考えてみようと思います。
僕の意見として「気持ち悪い」に
変わりはないんですが、論理的に考えると
必ずしも悪いこととは言い切れません。
というのも、「誰かと一緒にいたい」
と思っていてナンパでもいいから
人と交流したいと思っている人はいるだろうし、
つまり需要があるわけです。
需要があるということは、
その市場において価値があるということ。
＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝
そういう意味では、
むしろ善なのかもしれません。
＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝
特に、なにかのイベント会場とかなら、
「新しい出会いがあるかも」という期待や、
「誰かに話しかけられるかも」という心の準備をして
イベントに参加してる人は多いと思います。
そういう場でなら、
イベントの楽しみの１つとして
アリなのかなとも思います。
ですが、道で急に話しかけるようなナンパは、
需要がある可能性も無くはないとはいえ、
ほとんどの場合、鬱陶しいものです。
「いやいや、そんなめちゃくちゃ
迷惑かけてるわけじゃないんだからいいのでは？」
感情抜きにして考えると、
そんな疑問もあるかもしれませんが、
福澤諭吉は似たような例で否定しています。
『学問のススメ』の中で、
「自分で稼いだお金をどう使おうが、
（誰にも迷惑かけてないんだから）勝手だろ」
という意見に対してこう言っています。

確かにそのお金は
君が稼いだものかもしれないけど、
君のお金の使い方は周りの人も見てるんだ。
すると、それを真似て
ギャンブルや酒に溺れる人間が増えてしまう。
それは世の中にとってマイナスだ。
だから、お金の使い方を
個人の勝手だと思うのは未熟者だ。

ナンパする人がいることで、
性欲の奴隷のような人が増える可能性があります。
そのことしか考えないような人が増えれば、
確実に世の中にとってはマイナスです。
地球史上、最も賢い
「人間」であることを捨てるようなもの。
福澤諭吉はさらに、
＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝
酒やギャンブルや異性に溺れる人間は、
まともな人間ではない。
＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝
ともハッキリ言っています。
ですので、「需要」という意味では
決して悪ではないかもしれませんが、
そこから世の中に与える影響までを考えると、
「やっぱり気持ち悪いな」
という結論に落ち着きました。
