有名な「メラビアンの法則」という法則があります。
ざっくり紹介しますと、

つまり、

この優先順位で人は相手のことを
判断しますよ、というものです。
で、これを見たときによくある誤解があります。
結構、コミュニケーション講座を開くような人でも
誤解して教えていることがあるんですが、
これは決して「見た目が大事なんです！」
という単純な図式ではありません。
正確には・・・

それぞれの情報に”矛盾があったとき”、
より％の高い情報を優先して判断する

たとえば、もし田中くん（仮）が
「俺ってモノ大事にするタイプなんだよねー」
と言っていたとしましょう。
ある日、その田中くんが下駄箱から靴を出すとき、
地面にポイッと投げて靴を置いた瞬間を目撃しました。
そのときあなたなら、
田中くんが言語情報として言っていた
「モノを大事にする」という情報と、
実際には目の前で視覚情報として見た
「靴を腰くらいの高さからドサッと落とす」
という情報のどちらで判断しますか？
・・・多分「ああ、モノを大事にしないんだな」と
判断するかと思います。
これが、メラビアンの法則です。
パーセンテージは正直どうでもいいのですが、
「矛盾があったときに人は視覚情報を優先する」
ということは覚えておくのがいいと思います。
さて、このメラビアンの法則が
自分たちの感覚として証明されたことで
明らかにされることがあります。

モノを大事にする人は
往々にして信頼されやすいのですが、
