僕は、混むのが苦手なので、
こういう連休はあんまり出歩きたくないんですが、
友達と伊豆にいってきました。

当たり前のようにクジャクが目の前を歩いてたりして、
ビックリ体験の連続でした。

人と関わって生きていく以上、
「コミュニケーションスキル」はすごく重要です。
仕事・恋愛・友達関係、
あらゆる場面でこのスキルが求められます。
ただ、
今更コミュニケーションスキルの大事さを
長々と話してもしょうがないと思うので、
今回は、発展的なことを書いてみようという試みです。

こんな発言をしています。
「テレビにおいて視聴者が注目しているのは、
85％が見た目、10％が言葉の印象、

コミュニケーションには、
２つの側面があるんですね。
１．言語コミュニケーション
２．非言語コミュニケーション
ちょっと堅苦しいので、
もう少し表現を崩してみましょう。
１．伝える力
２．伝わる力

パーセンテージを当てはめると・・・
１．伝える力：15％
２．伝わる力：85％
これが何を表すのか？

「見た目」が、
コミュニケーション力の大半を決める

こんなコトを言うと、
「なんだ！世の中しょせん顔かよ！」
と誤解されるかもしれませんが、
この場合の”見た目”は、もっと広い意味です。
たとえば、
これから初対面の人に会うというとき、
ひょんなコトから耳栓が耳に詰まって
取れなくなったとしましょう。
こういう時に限って、
防音力の高い耳栓を付けてしまい、
まったく聞こえない状態ですが、
その状態でやむを得ず会うことにします。
実際に対面したとき、
もちろん相手の声（言葉）は聞こえません。
ただ、そんな状態でも、
“姿”は見ることができるので・・・
食事のメニューをこっちが読みやすいように
向きを変えておいてくれたり、
店員さんがドリンクを運んできたときに
軽く会釈をしたり、
そんな様子から
「優しい人だな」と印象を持ちました。
・・・と、
こういう広い意味での”見た目”です。
とは言っても、
「顔はまったく関係ありません！」
なんてコトを言うつもりもなく、
顔が相手に与える印象は大きいです。
だからこそ、
僕はずーーーーっと前から、
「笑顔のトレーニング」をオススメしているのです。
それくらい”見た目”は重要です。
広い意味での見た目には、人柄が表れるから。
それに関連して、
最近、聞いた言葉で、
「なるほど」と納得した言葉があります。

この意味は、
見た目がいくら華やかでも、
人工の造花には人を引きつける魅力はない。
人もまた、どんなに実力があっても、
謙虚さなく天狗になっている人に人間的魅力はない。

今回の記事風に少し変換すると、
どんなに能力が高くて、
「伝える力」が巧みでも、
内から溢れる「伝わる力」はごまかせない。
人柄は、花の香りのようなもの。

・・・という意味の言葉です。
本屋に行けばいっぱい本が並んでるにも関わらず、
人のコミュニケーションの悩みが尽きないのは、
ほとんどが「伝える力」にばかりフォーカスしてるからなんですね。
あんなにセールス営業の本がありながら、
苦戦している営業マンが多いのは、
「伝える力」にばかりフォーカスしているから。
それもそのはず。
本屋に置いてあるのが、
ほとんどが「伝える力」に
フォーカスしたものだからなんです。
なぜなら、
その方が本として売れやすいから。
テクニックみたいなものを勉強するのって、
すごい楽しいんですよね。
ですが、アポを取ってからの
成約率97％のトップセールス営業マンに
「この人は素質あるな。
と思う瞬間ってありますか？」
と聞いてみたことがあり、
そのとき、こんな答えが返ってきました。

これこそが「伝わる力」ですね。
この基盤ができている人は、
「伝える力」という武器を手にしたとき、

僕がここ最近、
脳科学の話をするようになったのは、
実は、この「伝わる力」にフォーカスしているから。
「伝える力」の方は、

より多くの人に良い影響を与えられるようになり、
より多くの人を笑顔にして感謝されるようになる。
そうやって世界が少しでも、
ほんのわずかでも良い方向に転がっていく。
そんな波紋がココから拡がっていけばいいなー、
と思いながら発信しています。
