今回は、行き詰まったときの対応策を
話してみようと思います。
とはいっても、
もうタイトルで出てるんですが。笑
「逆のことを考えてみる視点」
って結構、重要なんですね。
重要、というよりは、
そうした方が停滞した状態の
打開策が見つかる可能性が高い。
たとえばゲームでボスと戦うとき、
いかに接近戦で避けながら戦うか？
の試行錯誤が何度やってもダメなら、
「近付かないで戦う」という選択肢を考えるのです。
僕は高校生のとき、
「モンスターハンター」という
ゲームにハマって、ずーっとやってました。
修学旅行の初日の夜に、
友達と徹夜でモンハンして
次の日の記憶がまったくないくらい。笑
そのゲームで、接近戦が
めちゃくちゃ強いモンスターがいて、
剣士で何度戦っても勝てなかったんですね。
ガードできる武器を使っても、
そのガードを崩されてしまう。
そこで、それまでこだわってきた
「近付いて戦う」をやめて、
「近付かないで戦う」に変えたのです。
弓に変えたんですが、
そしたらあっさり勝ててしまいました。
それまでやっていたのとは
逆のことをやってみることで、
泥沼から抜け出すことができたのです。
これって多分、
どんなゲームにも当てはまると思うんですが、
人生のあらゆる場面でも同じだと思います。
「押してダメなら引いてみる」
という言葉があるように、
逆のことをやってみてはじめて、
得られるものもあるのです。
「やりたいこと」
を考えても思い浮かばないなら、
「やりたくないこと」を考えてみる。
「人から好かれる」
をやってもいまいちなら、
「人を好きになる（好意を注ぐ）」
という方向に意識を変えてみる。
「食べないダイエット」が微妙なら、
「食べるダイエット」をやってみる。
こんな風に、
逆のことをやってみることで
見えてくる突破口もあります。
もし逆をやってみても結局、
元の方がやりやすかったと感じたとしても、
それはそれで収穫はあるはずです。
漫画『スラムダンク』の中に、
「負けたことがあるというのが
いつか大きな財産になる」
という僕の好きなセリフがあるのですが、
逆のことをやってみるのも同じなんだと思います。
