今回のテーマは、
【真の自由&勇気の根幹の話】
まだ書いてもいないですが、
たぶん、面白い話になると思います。
長文になると思うので、
ゆっくり読めるときに読んでくださいませ。
さてさて、
昨日、相談に乗っていた人の中で、
＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝
今まで人に頼りっぱなしで、
自分の考えはなくて、
あっても言えなくて
人の考えに乗っかるばかり。
嫌なことからずっと逃げてきました。
学生が終わって
自分の考えを求められるように
なったけど、何も言えないんです。
＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝
そう言った方がいらっしゃいました。
まるで昔の僕を見てるようで
「分かるな～」と思っていたんですが、
こういう人にはある特徴があります。
なにか？
他者の期待に応えるように生きてきた
～～～～～～～～～～～～～～～～～
自分で自分の生き方を決めて貫くよりも、
他者からの「こうであって欲しい」
という期待に応える方が考えなくて済むし
余計な人間関係のギクシャクも起きないからです。
自分でやることを考えるよりも、
他の人の指示を受けて動いた方が楽ですからね。
ですが、そういう生き方をしていると、
・嫌われたくない
・誰かに認められたい（承認欲求）
・楽したい
という欲望が過剰になってきます。
これは人間の普遍的な欲望ですし、
誰にでもあるものです。
どんな聖人君子みたいな人にも必ずあります。
ですが重要なのはここから。
これらの欲望に流されている限り、
敷かれたレールの上を歩いてるのと同じなので、
人は「不自由さ」を感じるのです。

不自由だから、苦しくなる。
真の「自由」とは、
人間の普遍的な欲望に抗うことなのです。

・嫌われたくない
・誰かに認められたい（承認欲求）
・楽したい
これらの欲望に流されている内は
「人間」が「自分」に対して敷いた
レールの上を歩いてるので不自由。
ですが、
そういう普遍的な欲望に立ち向かったとき、
「自分」が自由になるのです。

※僕は「人間」と「自分」は
違うものだと思っています
じゃあ、どうすれば、
承認欲求等に立ち向かえるのか？
不自由→自由になるには、
「勇気を出してください」
としか言いようがありません。
テクニックとかコツがあるわけじゃなく、
ただ勇気を出すか出さないかの問題だと思います。
・・・と、似たようなことを
別の方にも言ったら、
「ピンと来ません。
かろりぃさんにとって
勇気とはどんなものですか？」
という質問をいただきました。
これはなかなか言語化するのが
難しいことなんですが、
「勇気＝爆発的なもの」ではない、
ということだけは言えます。
僕にとっての勇気は、
なにか爆発的なものなんかじゃなくて、
どちらかというと、むしろ、
フラット（平ら）な状態になることです。
もう少し具体的な言葉にすると、
＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝
重大だと思ってたことが
重大ではなかったと気付くこと
＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝
さらに誤解を恐れず言えば、
＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝
「どうでもいい」と気付くこと
＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝
僕は昔に比べたら、
いい意味で「どうでもいい」
と思うことが増えてきました。
いい意味で、というのは、
無鉄砲とか投げ出すような意味ではなく、
先入観や固定観念から解放される、
という意味です。
たとえば好きな人に直接告白する、
なんてのは勇気を出すことの代表だと思います。
断られたらどうしよう、
それが周りにも伝わって
周りとの人間関係が崩れたらどうしよう。
そんなことが頭をよぎるわけですが、
「たしかに痛い思いはするけど、
別にこれで人生終わるわけじゃないよな」
と、そんなに重大ではないことに気付く。
僕はここに勇気の根幹があると思います。
逆に、今まで重大だと思ってなかったことを
重大で価値のあることだと気付くのも同じです。
これは自分を好きになれるかどうかの勇気。
僕にとっての勇気は、こんな感じで
爆発的に生み出すようなものじゃなく、
むしろフラットにしていくこと。
人の目が見れないような状態から
そんな自分を変えるために接客業に
飛び込んだときも、
「苦しい思いはするかもしれないけど、
別にそれで自分の価値が下がるわけじゃない」
という感じで、
それまで重大に思っていたことが
重大ではないことに気付いて、
どうでもよくなったからです。
最近では、
年齢すらどうでもいいと思ってます。
まず「１年」という単位は
人間が勝手に決めた概念だし、
昔と今の栄養とか医学知識の違いから、
昔の１年と今の１年は絶対に違う。
それにどんな生活をしてるのかでも
人によって脳や身体の劣化の度合いは違う。
じゃあ、年齢ってどうでもいいな。
と思うようになりました。
そしたら、
何歳でもチャレンジすればいい、
という考えに至りました。
勇気とは、爆発的なものじゃなくて、
フラットになること。
これが今の僕が至った結論です。
