最近アニメ化されて「これから超面白くなる！」
って所にきてる『メイドインアビス』という漫画がありまして。
最初は「絵柄かわいいな」くらいの気持ちで、
とある人がオススメしてたから買ってみたんですが、
どハマりしました。
控えめに言って「超面白い」です。笑
物語をザックリ振り返っておくと・・・

主人公のリコが住む街に”アビス”と呼ばれる
大穴が空いていて、そこにはあらゆる遺物（宝物的な）があります。
それを獲りにいく人達を探窟家と呼び、
リコのお母さんは「殲滅のライザ」という
異名があるくらい、街の誇りであり優秀な人。
そんなライザはアビスの最深部を目指して旅立ち、
「もう二度と地上に帰ってこれない」ようになったんですが、
ある日、ライザからだと思われる手紙が地上に届きます。
（気球みたいなもので運ぶ）
そこには「深界７層間近でヒトガタの影を発見」
という報告書だったり、
「奈落の底で待つ」というメッセージがあったのです。

アビスの最深部を目指して
二度と帰れない旅に向かっていく・・・。
と、ザックリそんな物語。
可愛らしい絵柄と
冒険ファンタジーっぽい設定とは裏腹に、
内容は強烈です。苦笑
たまにこういう絵柄もあったりして、
夜に暗闇のなかで読んだら後ろ振り返るの怖くなりますよ。
あ、言っちゃった。苦笑
「そんなこと言うから怖くなったじゃん！」
というクリームは鉄壁の防御で受け付けません。

アビスの中には空気みたいな謎の気体（？）
のようなものが漂っていて、
それを下に突き抜ける分には影響ないんですが、
下から上に突き抜けたとき、
アビスの呪いが発動するんです。
だから、どんどん下に潜っていく分には
なんの影響もないんですが、
潜ってから地上に戻ろうとすると、
身体にあらゆる異常が出てきます。
これを「上昇負荷」と呼んでます。
