これサンクコスト効果って呼ばれる
人間心理でして、前にYoutube動画でも話したことあります。

もうそろそろ月末で
「通信制限が崖っぷちで動画見るのはちょっと・・・」
って人もいそうなので、書いておきますね。
まずサンクコストって何ぞや？
って話なんですが、意味はこうです。
サンクコスト：
すでに支払ってしまい、もう戻ってこないコストのこと
さっきのツイートの例ですと、
スマホゲームで欲しいキャラを手に入れるために
課金したお金だったり、
そのゲームにかけてきた時間のことを言います。
僕も２年以上「モンスト」ってアプリやってたんですが、
見事にこのサンクコスト効果にハマってました。
ガチャを引けば引くほど、
「ここまで引いたんだからもう欲しいキャラ
ゲットするまで引き下がれない！
絶対に負けられない戦いが、ここにある！！」
という熱い思いがほとばしっていて、
どっぷりサンクコスターでした（何
このサンクコスト効果って知識はあったのに
そうなってたわけですから、
この心理効果はめちゃくちゃ強いです。
一回ハマり出すと、
ますます抜けれなくなります。
なので、ハマりそうだったら
「そもそも参加しない」が賢明。
僕も２年以上楽しんだモンストはもう消しました。
で、これって他にもいろんな場所で
働いている心理効果でして。
たとえば読書もいい例。
お金をかけて本を買ったら、
心のどこかで「最後まで読み切らなきゃ！」
って思いになりがちです。
なので、内心もうすでに飽きてるし
思ったより微妙な内容だったなって気付いてるのに、
「せっかくお金出して買ったんだから！」
と、サンクコスターになってしまって
苦しみながら本を読んだりするんですよ。
これも経験済みです。苦笑
これ、ほんと時間の無駄。
「つまんないな」って感じる本は、
だいたい２パターンです。
・ホントに内容が薄くてつまらない
・まだ読むタイミングではない
前者ならもう読まなくていいし、
後者なら一旦置いといて、
しばらくしてからまた読めばいいんです。
あとは、仕事での転職も同じだと思います。
１つの職場で働けば働くほど、
その業界について詳しくなるし仕事も慣れます。
これって、良い意味で捉えれば
「仕事ができるようになる」わけなんですが、
悪い意味で捉えれば「どんどんサンクコストが高くなってる」とも言えますよね。
だから、どんなに「辞めたい」と思ってても、
続ければ続けるほど上級サンクコスターになり、
辞められなくなってしまいます。
なので、決断は早い方がいいです。
いや、この場合は”決別”ですかね。
自分を加速させるために必要なのは、
決断よりも決別かもしれない。
