つい言っちゃってませんか？
「すいません！」と。
たとえば、
自分が散らかしたところを
誰かに片付けてもらったとき。
たとえば、
荷物が重くて持てないところを
誰かに手伝ってもらったとき。
そういう時に口から出てくる言葉は、
２パターンに分かれます。

１．すいません！
２．ありがとう！
―――――――――
「すいません」が反射的に出てくる人は、
すごく気を遣うタイプなんだと思います。
もちろん、
それが悪いことだとは思いませんし、
その謙虚な心は大切だと思います。
ただ・・・

日常生活で反射的に「すいません！」
と言ってしまう場面は、
だいたい「ありがとう」に変換できる
―――――――――――――――――
どうせ言うなら「ありがとう」の方が
お互い気持ち良いじゃん。
と思いますし、
僕自身、そう言うように意識しています。
とは言っても、
とにかく自信ない小野田だった昔は、
「すいません」が反射的に口から出てました。
だからこそ分かるんですが、
誰かに助けてもらったりしたとき、
「迷惑かけちゃった」と思ってしまうんですね。
なので、
「すいません」が口から出てきてしまう。
ですが、そこから成長してきて、
たくさんの人から相談される側になって分かるのは、
迷惑かどうかを決めるのは相手。

相談に返事をしたあと、
「お手数かけてすいません」
「ご迷惑かけます」
と言われたりするんですが、
その度に、
「いやいや、
迷惑なんて微塵も感じてないから！」
と、いつも思います。
もちろん、
「迷惑かな？」と感じる
謙虚な心は大切だと思います。
その清流のような心は誇りに思うべきです。
ただ、

普通なら「迷惑」と思うようなことを
それでも相手にぶつけてみるのは、
「相手の器の大きさを信じる」
ということです。
―――――――――――――――――
謙虚な心は大切だけども、
「相手の器の大きさを信じる」のも大切なのです。
そして、
もし自分が迷惑を”される側”だとしたら、
「ああ、器の大きさを信じてくれてるんだな」
と思うようにする。
そうすれば、それに応えようとして、
自分の器を大きくすることにも繋がるのです。
すべての人がこの感覚になれば、
もっと世の中は良い方向にいけるはず。
