僕は『HUNTER×HUNTER』が好きでして、
特に好きなシーンがあります。
イカに憧れているタコのイカルゴが、
（↑ややこしい！笑）
キルアを助けるシーンです。
元々、「キメラアントvs.人間」
という構図で描かれているので、
キメラアント側であるイカルゴはキルアの敵でした。
なのに、イカルゴはキルアを助けたんです。
イカルゴがキルアを助けた理由
人間の命を大量に奪う「選別」を食い止めるために、
キルアは村や町を走り回って避難を促していたわけですが、
その道中、遥か遠くから何者かに狙撃されます。
それがイカルゴの能力。
（死体を操る能力）
８本ある足の内の１本をライフルの形状に変え、
どこからともなく弾を取り出し、狙撃します。
ただ、
もちろん遠くを見るためのスコープはありません。
そこで、空で監視役をしている
キメラアントと連携をすることにより、
ターゲットの場所を正確に特定することで補っています。
（テレパシーで会話できる）
つまり、キルアから目視できない場所からの
狙撃を可能にしているわけです。
ですが、キルアは目を閉じ、
あえて弾に当たることにより、
どの方角から狙撃されているのかを察知します。
そして、
方角が分かった途端、
イカルゴがいる場所へと全力疾走。
なんとかイカルゴの元へたどり着きますが、
イカルゴは
「罠だぜ。それでも来るかい？」
と言いながら、地底湖へと飛び降ります。
（フラグがビンビン）
キルアは誘いに乗り、
血の臭いに反応して集まる
肉食の魚たちが群れをなしている水中に
落ちそうになるんですが、
瞬時の判断でイカルゴの足を切り落とし、
その足に付いている吸盤で壁にくっ付くことにより、
なんとか落ちずにすみます。
（なんで吸盤で体重支えられんの？
という突っ込みはなしで！笑）
イカルゴ、ピンチ！
予想外のことをされた上に、
足をちぎられ自分も血を流してしまったので、
イカルゴはその場から逃げ、
別の仲間に任せることにします。
※血を流しているので、水中には逃げられない
ですが、散々、狙撃されて血だらけの
キルアが簡単に見逃すはずもなく、
イカルゴを捕まえ、こう言います・・・
「空でウロチョロしてるお前の仲間の能力を教えろ。
そうすれば命は保証してやる。」
イカルゴの全身から汗が流れ出て、
これ以上ないくらい眉間にシワを寄せ、
目には薄っすら涙を浮かべます。
しかし、その直後、
フッと全身の力を抜きます。
イカルゴが出した答えは・・・
（ここ名言！）
「仲間は・・・売れねえ！！」
そう言って、
掴まれている足を自ら切り落とし、
自分の命を捨てる決断をしました。
イカルゴの最期？
そうして、
イカルゴは水中へと落ち・・・
・・・・・るかと思いきや、
なんと、キルアがイカルゴを助けます。
「な、なんで・・・？」
と混乱しているイカルゴに対し、
キルアは・・・・

「かっこいいから。
違うカタチで会えてたら
友達になれたなって思うくらいな。」

そう言って、
イカルゴを地面へと投げ、助けたのです。
その後、
地底湖から出ようとしたキルアに新たな刺客が現れます。
キルアが死ぬ？
敵は、攻撃を食らう瞬間まで、
攻撃を見ることも感じることも出来ない、
というチート能力の持ち主。
その敵との戦い、
死闘のすえ何とか勝てたものの、
命の危険が伴うほどの深手を負ってしまいます。
しかし、
立ち止まっている場合ではないので、
再び「選別」を止めるべく歩き出す・・・・
が、
あまりにも傷が深く、
その場で倒れてしまいます。
立ち上がることはおろか、
動くことすら出来ない状態。
視界はボヤけ、
体温は下がり続け、
身体が寒さで震え出し、
キルアは、
「俺・・・ここで終わりなのか？」
と、自分の命が尽きていくのを悟ります。
そんな絶望に包まれていた時、
何者かに手を握られます。
そう、
さっき助けたはずのイカルゴです。
イカルゴはキルアを抱え、
医者に連れていくため走り出しました。

「タコ・・・お前バカかよ。
せっかく助けてやったのに・・・。
こんな事したら、
お前までお尋ね者だ。。。」
イカルゴ

けどよ・・・こんな俺のこと、
こんなタコな俺のことを
カッコイイって言ってくれたヤツを・・・
友達になれるって言ってくれたヤツを・・・
見捨てるなんて出来るかよ！！！」

イカルゴは、
キルアを絶対に助けるべく走り出した・・・。

さて、
イカルゴがキルアを助けた理由
本来、敵だったはずのイカルゴは、
なぜキルアを助けたんでしょう？
僕は、
すごくシンプルな理由だと思います。
キルアがイカルゴに 好意を示したから
キルアは、
自分を狙撃してきた相手を感情的に評価せず、
表面的な態度ではない、
イカルゴの「人格」をきちんと見たのです。
そして、
その人格の良さに感動し、
イカルゴに好意を示したわけです。
それが、
イカルゴに「感謝」の心を生み出させ、
キルアに何かお返したいと思わせたのです。
これは、全ての人間関係において同じことが言えます。
優しくされたら優しくしてあげたくなるし、
「ありがとう」と言われたら「ありがとう」と言いたくなる。
謝られたら謝りたくなるし、
手伝ってくれたら手伝ってあげたくなる。
やられたら倍返しもしたくなる。、。
（↑ちょっと古い。笑）
幸せに生きるコツは、 「与える生き方」をすること。
