どうも、かろりぃです。
今回は、
◆「健康」と「人間的魅力」の関係
というテーマでお話していこうと思います。
僕自身、中学・高校時代の肌荒れをきっかけに、
かなり健康に気を遣うようになりました。
毎朝ヨーグルト食べたり、豆乳飲んだり、青汁飲んだり、
スナック菓子やめたり、チョコはカカオ６０％以上を選ぶようにしたり・・・
「肌を綺麗にしたい！」
の一心で、いろんな事を試してきました。
（体調はどうでもよかったです。苦笑）
とは言っても、
これを読んでくれてるあなたは、
別に肌荒れには悩んでいないかもしれません。
体調もそんなに悪くないかもしれません。
ですが、健康に気を遣う意味は、
体調を整える・肌の調子を良くする
だけではないんです。
アスリートの人達が魅力的なのも、
健康に気を遣うことで得られる
もう一つの効果が大きいと思います。
それは・・・

自分を律する
――――
健康に気を遣うというコトは、
体調を整える他に、自分を律するというコトでもあります。
自分を律するというのは簡単にいうと、
→【自分の中でルールを決めて守る】
さっきの僕の例でいうと、
「スナック菓子を食べない」というルールを決めて、
それを守るということ。
どうしても、、、どうしても食べたくなった時は食べてましたが、
裏面の栄養表示を見て、なるべく脂質が少ないものを選んでました。
我慢しすぎも、ストレス溜まって良くないですからね。
で、
自分を律するというのは、
同時に、本能に向き合うことでもあります。
・お菓子食べたい！
・ダラダラしたい！
・青汁なんて飲みたくない！
人は基本的に楽をしたがる生き物ですから、
本当はお菓子食べたいし、ダラダラしたいし、
青汁なんて不味い飲み物は飲みたくないんですよ。
（青汁好きな人はごめんなさい）
でも、
あえてそんな本能に反発してみるわけです。
駅で電車から降りた時、
８～９割の人はエスカレーターに一目散です。
明らかに階段の方が早いのに、
みんなエスカレーター待ちの列をつくります。
ですが、僕は絶対に階段を使います。
（天の邪鬼なだけかもしれませんが。苦笑）
そんなに人がいなくても階段を使います。
「そんなことして何の意味があるの？」
と疑問に思われるかもしれませんね。
・大好きだったスナック菓子を食べない
・美味しくない青汁を飲む
・駅内でエスカレーターを使わない
どれもすっっごい地味なコトですが、

楽をしない習慣づくり
――――――
に繋がっているんです。
もちろん、そんなストイックな動機で始めたわけじゃないですが、
結果的にはそうなってるって事です。
自分に”負荷をかける事が当たり前”になってきます。
最初はスナック菓子をやめるのも、青汁を飲むのも苦痛でしたが、
今ではまったく苦痛に感じていません。
むしろスナック菓子を欲しいと思わなくなってきたし、
青汁も旅行先にまで持参するくらいになりました。苦笑
不思議と、自分の中でそれらが当たり前になっているんです。
こうなってくると、
色々な恩恵が受けられます。
１つは、努力することが当たり前になる。
いや、正確には、努力を努力だと思わなくなります。
【自分の理想を叶えるために自分に負荷をかける】
↑これに対して何の疑問もなく取り組めます。
要するに、
プロ野球選手が、練習することを努力だと思ってるのか？
って話です。
努力だなんて思っていないはずです。
彼らにとっては当たり前のことなんですから。
２つ目は・・・
僕の感覚なのですが、

イラッとした時に口から溢れ出そうになった言葉を
抑えることが出来る。
――――――――――
自分を律することで身に付く
「楽をしない習慣」によって心に余裕ができるので、
溢れ出しそうになった負の感情にフタをすることができます。
たいていの場合、
そこで感情に任せて言葉のトゲを振りまいたら、
余計に状況が悪化してしまいます。
それを見越してフタができる、って事です。
なにより、
後から冷静になって考えてみると、
そんなに気にするほどでもない事に気付きます。
「あ～、あそこで耐えた自分カッケー」
って思っとけばいいと思います。苦笑
ちなみに余談ですが、
日常生活のイライラは、たいてい睡眠・栄養不足からきます。
ちゃんと寝て、ちゃんと栄養を摂る！
ストレスを溜める原因は、意外と身近にあるもんですよ。
