と、すぐにでも家に帰れるよう準備を終え、
後は”終業式”を乗り越えるだけの状態に。
先生「は～い、廊下に番号順に並んでー！」
先生の指示により僕らは廊下に並び、
そのまま体育館へ案内される。
もちろん、私語は禁止だ。
僕「（いよいよだ。これが終われば夏休みだ！）」
と、心の中で静かにつぶやき、
僕の頭の中は、すでに夏休みでいっぱいでした。
そして、ついに終業式が始まる・・・
僕の中では、
終業式に対するイメージは１つしかない。
それが・・・先生たちのお話。
（いや、正確には、先生たち以外の人のお話もある）
僕は、この時間が嫌いで嫌いでしょうがなかった。
とても、同じ日本語を聞いているとは思えなかった。
「何か別の国の言葉を話してるんじゃないか？」と。
中でも、
“校長先生の話”は苦行でしかなかった。
やたらと長いし、
何を言ってるのかさっぱり分からないし、
面白くないし、
すんごく眠くなる。
もはやダブルパンチどころではない。
僕は、夏休みを前にして、
この上なく「イライラ」していた・・・。

自分の言いたいコトから話し始めても、
ほとんどの人は、ちゃんと聴いてくれません。
人は、基本的に自分に関係あるコトしか興味ないので。
だったら、まずは相手の興味を引くことから
始めないといけないわけです。
たとえば、
「実は、政治家の間では変なルールがあって・・・」
みたいに、裏話から話し始めてみるとか。
これなら、
純粋に興味ありますよね？
「お、なんか面白そうだな。」
と思って立ち止まるはずです。
こうやって「相手の興味」から入り、
まずは、こっちを見てもらうコトから
スタートしていくわけです。
で、
徐々に自分の「思い」だったり「価値観」を
伝えていく・・・
これが、本当の「伝える」という事です。
相手が受け取ってこその「伝える」ですからね。
こっちが一方的に投げただけでは伝わりません。
キャッチボールでも、
相手がこっちを見ていないのにボールを投げたって、
受け取ってもらえるワケないのですから。
そして、

多くの人は
「相手の心を掴む」というのが苦手

これは別に、その人が悪い！ってわけじゃなくて、
そういう訓練を受けていないだけなのです。
たとえば、学校で提出するレポート。
あれは、採点してくれる人がいるので、
「必ず読んでもらえる前提」で書いてしまいます。
自分の中から出てきた言葉で書くので、
「分かりやすい表現を使おう！」とか、
「この言葉、不快に感じたりしないかな？」
のように、読み手のコトを考えません。
読みやすいように改行、
というのも、ほとんどしませんからね。
どんなに良い大学を出たとしても、
論理的に正しくて堅苦しい文章が書けるだけで、
相手にとって分かりやすい、読みやすい文章を書く訓練はしません。
つまり、
「そもそも読んでもらえない」を
前提とした訓練をしないわけです。
だから、コミュニケーション力が育たない。

「コミュニケーションめちゃくちゃ得意です！」
とまでは言えませんが、

「伝える力」に関しては、普通の人より圧倒的に上の自信があります。
日本人の９割が学んでない事を学んでるわけなので、
当たり前の話ではありますが・・・。
