「赤ずきんちゃん」という童話知ってますか？
かなり有名な話なので
ざっくりしたストーリーは
知ってる人がほとんどだと思います。
一応、超圧縮して紹介しますと、
おばあちゃんのお見舞いに出かけた
赤ずきんちゃんが、森で会ったオオカミに
おばあちゃんの家を教えてしまい、
先回りしておばあちゃんを丸飲みしたオオカミが
後から来た赤ずきんちゃんも丸飲みしてしまう。
というストーリーです。
だいぶザックリ紹介しました。笑
で、この物語の解釈としては、
「オオカミ＝欲望のままに生きてる悪い人間」
だとして、変な人に声かけられても、
何か教えたり付いていっちゃダメだよ。
という教育のストーリーなんだ、
って解釈されることが多いです。
ですがこれは、
赤ずきんちゃん視点での解釈です。
なので今回は、
オオカミ視点での解釈を考えてみようかなと思います。
ちなみに、これは意外と知らない人もいそうですが、
２人を丸飲みしたオオカミは、最終的にヒドイ目に遭っています。
お腹いっぱいになって
いびきをかいてそのまま寝ていたところを、
たまたま狩人が通りかかって
あまりのお腹の膨らみに疑いを持ち、
お腹を切り開かれるのです。
そこから２人は生還していて、
赤ずきんちゃんの第一声がこちら。
「オオカミのお腹の中ったら
すっごい暗かったわ！」

とツッコミたくなる
強靭な精神を持っています。
強い子に育ちそうです・・・。笑
で、そんなマッチョな赤ずきんちゃんは、

大きい石をせっせと運んできて、
オオカミのお腹の中に詰めていったんです。
そこでようやくオオカミは目が覚めます。
（お腹切られても起きないオオカミもだいぶマッチョ）
だけど、お腹に詰められた石の重みで動けず、
その動けないところを
狩人に毛皮を剥がれたのです。
そんなヒドイ目に遭っているオオカミですが、
元はといえば、欲張ったことが原因です。
せめて丸飲みするのは
赤ずきんちゃんだけにしておけば、
こんなことにはならなかったはず。
それを欲張って２人も食べるから、
動けないくらいお腹いっぱいになり、
狩人に見つけられたわけです。

つまり、自分の器以上の結果を求めたから、
その重さに耐えられなかった。
