人間の直感についてこんなことが書いてありました。

最近、『３月のライオン』という
将棋アニメを見ていましたが、
将棋棋士は、相手が一手打つたびに
何十、何百通り先までのパターンが頭に浮かぶそうです。
これは、天才だから想像できるわけではなく、
これまでにあらゆるパターンの攻めを経験したり、
自分でもあらゆるパターンの攻めを考えたりしたからこそ
見えるようになってるわけです。
僕はバスケを９年間やっていましたが、
バスケのシュートに関しては、どういう軌道で
ボールが飛んでいけばあのネットを潜るのか？
というパターンをいくつも見えているのが
経験者と初心者の明らかな違いだと思います。
「こういう軌道でボールを飛ばせば入る」
というルートが予め見えていて、
そこに合わせるようにシュートを打つ感じなんですね。
だからこそ、
打った瞬間に理想とのズレが見えるので
入るのか外すのかが直感で分かります。
（その直感は高確率で当たる）
そして、そのルートは普段の練習での「体験」や
他選手のプレーによる「知識」で増えていきます。
すると、今までよりもより広い範囲から
シュートを決められるようになる。
これが、「経験値」と呼ばれるものなのです。

咄嗟に相手をかわす、というアドリブ力は、
「相手がこうしてきたら、自分はこうする」
というような想像をどれだけしてきたかどうかで鍛えられます。
「身体が勝手に動いて相手をかわした」
という言葉をスポーツの世界ではよく聞きますが、
これは反射神経というよりも、想像の賜物なんですね。
日常会話で「咄嗟に面白いことを言う」にしても、
１日の終わりに「今日のあの場面では
こういうことを言ったら面白かったかもな」
という想像を繰り返すことによって鍛えられるわけです。
もしくは、テレビや動画を見て
「こういう場面では、こんなことを言うと面白いのか」
という知識を得ることによっても鍛えられます。

スポーツ、コミュニケーション、仕事、

「体験＞思考＞知識」の順に
想像力への影響度は大きいと思います。
ですので、「試行錯誤が大事だ」と
説教してくるビジネス書を読むよりも、
「どうやったらボスに勝てるのか？」を
真剣に考えるゲームの方が身に染み込むのです。
相手が今、どんな感情でいるのか？
という想像力を鍛えるのなら、
「目が細めのときは〇〇な感情で〜」と
書いてある本よりも漫画や小説などの物語に
大量に触れた方が身になるのです。
そうして、想像できるパターンが広がり
より多面的に物事を見れるようになって、
直感の精度も上がっていく。
