どうも、かろりぃです。
すごく今更な話なんですが、
なぜか昨日、お風呂入っているときに
急に思い出したので、
「これはなにかのメッセージかな？」
と勝手に解釈してメルマガ書いてます。笑
なにを思い出したのかというと、
少し前に人生ではじめて「ぶどう狩り」に
行ったことです。
「～狩り」シリーズは、
定番のイチゴ狩りは何回か行ったことがあって、
１回だけブルーベリー狩りもあります。
ちなみに、ブルーベリー狩りは、
激しくオススメしません。苦笑
今回、ぶどう狩りに行った場所は、
とくに時間制限もなく、
「好きなだけ食べていいよ」という所でした。
・・・・・と、
こんなことを言われてしまうと、
「ふっふっふ、美味しいし、
ほぼ水分に近いフルーツなんて
無限に食えるぜ」
狩りシリーズの前はこんな気持ちなので、
「おばちゃん、後悔しても知らないよ」
と、文字通り”狩り”をするかのごとく
食べ尽くしてしまおうと思ってました。
が！
いざ狩りがはじまって１房もぎ取り、
それを最後まで食べ終わった頃には・・・
「モウ、イラナイヨ」
そんな一言が口から漏れ出すほどグッタリ。
辺り一帯を食べ尽くすどころか、
１房でダウン。
ただ、そこで妙なプライドが奮い立ち、
その後、
モウイラナイヨと叫んでる本能を椅子に縛り付けて、
理性で２房、３房と口に運んでいきました。
最後、４房目は、
もうとっくに限界に来ていましたが、
友達とシェアしながらなんとか完食。
そして、
狩りシリーズを終えたあとに言う、
定番の一言を放ちます。
「もうあと１年は食べたくないな」
そう言いながら、
２～３日もすればまた恋しくなるんですが、
イチゴ狩りに行ったあとも
必ず同じことを言ってます。苦笑
そして、いつも同じことを学びます。

何事も、
ちょっと物足りないくらいが丁度良い

今回のように狩りシリーズで食べ過ぎたり、
ラーメンで替え玉し過ぎたり、
焼肉食べ過ぎたり、お酒飲み過ぎたり・・・
きっと、「飲食」において
この教訓を得るのは、１年で何回かあると思います。
ただ、
今回の重要ポイントはココからで、
この教訓は、
「食」以外の場面にも当てはまるのです。

このメルマガには、
ビジネスやコミュニケーションに
興味のある人がほとんどだと思いますが、
「物足りないくらいが丁度良い」は、
ビジネスでも人間関係にも当てはまります。
もう少し表現を換えると、

思わなくてもいい

この感覚、
自分も楽しんでやっていくためには、
ヒジョーに大切です。
なぜなら、
「満足」には終わりがないから。

「喜んでもらえることをしよう」
このマインドで相手に向き合うことは、
とても大切なことだし
人として素晴らしいことだと思います。
ですが、真面目な人は、
この思いに縛られすぎてしまうのです。
「役に立つことをしないと！」
と思うようになりがちです。
そうなると、
なにか企画を考えたり
好きな人とのデートを考えたり
友達との遊びの計画を考えるのが苦しくなってきます。
だから、

相手に楽しんでもらおう、
喜んでもらおう、という思いは大切だけど、
「満足してもらう」必要はない
―――――――――――――――――
という感覚を
どこか頭の隅っこに入れておくのが重要。
そして、これは、
自分に対しても同じです。

人生に「満足」を追い求めてしまうと、
どんどんハードルが高くなっていくだけで
終わりがありません

「満足感」を追い続けた先にあるのは、
より強い刺激じゃないと
幸せを感じられなくなった状態です。

ここ最近、人生を通した
「使命（ミッション」を持つことの重要性を
話していますが、それがココに繋がってくるのです。
・自分はなんのために働くのか？
・自分はなんのために生きるのか？
こんな問いに絶対的な答えはないし、
時が経てば変わる可能性だってありますが、
それでも「自分の使命はコレ！」と言える人は
輝いていて魅力的で幸せそうです。
