大きな壁は、小さなマイナスの積み重ねの結果
これは、TED（クマじゃない方）の動画で
勉強を例に話されてたことなんですが、
「たとえば数学が苦手な人がいたとすると、
それはその人の頭が悪いんじゃなくて、
理解できてない所があったのに授業が先に進んじゃうから」
ということを言っていました
足し算・引き算・かけ算・割り算の
混合問題のテストがあったとして、
それで８０点だったとしたら
点数としてはたしかに良い方だと思います
でも、よーく考えてみると、
これってつまり２０％は理解できてなかった、
ということなんですね
それなのに、
その基礎知識をフルに活用しないといけない
方程式だったり連立方程式に授業は進んじゃうわけです
すると、今度は方程式のテストで
７５点だったとすれば、
２５％が理解できてないことになります
こうやって小さなマイナスを積み重ねた結果、
微分・積分がチンプンカンプンになって
「自分は数学が苦手だ」とか
「自分は頭が悪いんだ」って思い込んじゃうんですね
でも本当は、その人が数学が苦手なんじゃなくて、
小さなマイナスをそのままにして
授業がどんどん進んでしまった結果、
それが「塵も積もれば山となる」になっただけ
だから、それは１枚の大きな壁に見えて、
実はよーーーく顕微鏡で覗いてみると
複数の壁が積み重なってるだけなんですよ
これは、勉強に限らず人生のあらゆることで同じ
たとえば「バスケが上手くならない」という壁も、
基礎的な身体の動かし方の小さなマイナスだったり
食生活だったり姿勢だったり睡眠だったりの
小さなマイナスが積み重なった結果なんです
その人が「出来ない人」なわけじゃない
だから、僕がずっと言い続けてるように、
「あらゆることの質を１．１倍ずつ上げていこう」
っていうのが大事
７０％をいきなり１００％にするのは難しくても、
７０％→７７％にするのは簡単なこと
でも、それがいろんなことで重なれば
大きな変化になるわけです
そう信じてるから、
僕はいろんな発信をするようにしています
苦手なことがあったとしても、
「克服」なんてしなくていいんです
「緩和」すればいいだけ
