「綺麗好きは、信頼される」
今回は、この揺るぎない事実について書こうと思います。
「この人なら大丈夫だろ」
そんな風に、無条件に信頼されて
他の人に心を開いてもらえるような人は、
ほぼ例外なく綺麗好きです。
綺麗好きというのは、
細かい所まで丁寧に掃除ができて、
片付けができる人のこと。
で、どうして綺麗好きだと
信頼されるのか？
についてなんですが。
ここでポイントとなるのが、
「信頼」はどこから生まれるのか？
ということです。
似たような言葉に、
「信用」がありますが、
それとの違いはなにか？
信用と信頼の違いを、
ざっくり表すとこんな感じになります。

信用：過去の実績
信頼：生き方
＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝
信用は、
「信用取引」と言われるように、
その人が過去にちゃんと支払ってきたか？
収入が足りていて支払い能力はあるか？
そんな視点で見られて、
満たしていれば「信用」されます。
「前は時間通りに約束場所に来たから、
きっと今回も来るだろう」
→こういうのが信用です。

で、それに対して「信頼」は、
無条件なものです。

前はやってくれたから、
今回もきちんとやってくれるだろう。
ではなくて、
この人なら大丈夫だろう。
と、なんの根拠もなく
相手を信じること。
これが「信頼」です。
そんな信頼は、
この人なら大丈夫だろう、
と思わせるような「生き方」から生まれます。
じゃあ、どんな生き方をしていると、
信頼に繋がるのか？というと・・・

周りから見たときに、
「損している」
ように見える生き方

その意味で、
綺麗好きは損します。
人一倍、
乱雑に置かれてるものが気になるし、
汚れてるものが気になるし、
ゴミが置いてあると気になるので、
ムズムズして誰よりも動くのです。
だから、労力的にはすっごく損します。
丁寧にやる必要がないことでも、
たとえ誰も丁寧にやってないとしても、
ついつい丁寧にやっちゃうんですね。

でも、だからこそ、
その丁寧な生き方を見て、
周りの人は信頼するのです。

「この人なら大丈夫だ」と。

綺麗好きな人は、
損する代わりに徳を積むのです。

「徳」については、あらゆる古典で
その重要性が話されています。
たとえばマキャベリの『君主論』では、
「王（君主）の器」として、
徳を備えた人間かどうかを重要視しています。
老舗企業に伝わる商人の心得の中でも、
「損して徳とれ」という言葉があります。
