さてさて、今回は、
僕が尊敬する日本でもトップクラスの
経営コンサルタントの方の言葉を紹介したいと思います。
あまり表には出ない方なんですが、
単に会社の売上を伸ばすだけでなく、
経営者や従業員の家庭環境まで
改善してしまうコンサルをしている方です。
僕はその方の講座を受けて、
かなり生き方のスタンスに影響を受けました。

で、もちろん、
そういう意味も含まれてると思います。
ですが、もっと本質的な話をすると、
そういう表面的な部分に
本当の「優秀」はないんですね。
優秀の根幹には、必ず愛情があるのです。
たとえば、なにかを教えるときに
相手に分かりやすく説明する場面で、
優秀な人は順序立てて理由も話しながら
難しい言葉を使わず、間もしっかり取りながら
相手の反応を見ていろんな角度から説明します。
そして、説明をはじめる前には、

「こういう業界は初めて？」
「今までどんな業界での経験ある？」
と相手の段階を把握してからはじめます。

などが分からないからです。
こういう風に教えられる人は、

この根幹にあるのは、相手の立場に立って
考えようとする「愛情」なのです。
必要なことは話してるんだけど、
自分が知ってることは相手も知ってると思い
専門用語を使いまくったり、
相手に頭を整理する間も与えず
とにかく自分が思い付いたことを言う。
・・・ここに愛情は感じないですよね。
仕事での優秀な人は、能力が高いから
「優秀」と呼ばれるんじゃなくて、
愛情が深いからこそ、”結果的に”
「優秀」と呼ばれるようになるのです。
愛情深いから気配りができて、
愛情深いから分かりやすく話せて、
愛情深いから早くて、
愛情深いから丁寧なのです。
